In January 2004 the Dutch Klem magazine has published it’s last magazine. With Klem #120 a 25 years tradition has ended. We thank Frits for his long and faithful work for our electronic music and wish him lots of free time and listening pleasure.
But in the same month there has been the birth of a new EM magazine…
THE new electronic music magazine for all fans, artists and listeners of electronic music.
We like to introduce you to: E-dition
E-dition is a new magazine that like Klem appears 6 times per year. The first issue was shipped on February 9th 2004.
E-dition is an A4 magazine on glossy paper with a great design and a refreshing look on electronic music from all over the world.
The layout of the magazine is in the hands of Pablo Magne. A wellknown graphic designer who has designed several CD covers already
The new magazine will appear in the Dutch and English language and thereby sets a new standard for other periodic EM magazines.
Bert Strolenberg and Paul Rijkens are the editorial team of E-dition. Loved by many fans for all the years that they worked for Klem magazine. Together they were responsible for at least 60-70% of the contents.
Other reviewers are: Wouter Bessels (from Background magazine), Menno von Brucken Fock (specialized in melodic E.M and known from magazine IO Pages), Andre de Waal (known with most E.M.-styles, also known from IO Pages) and several other people who have written for Klem.
Thanks to all these people we’re certain that a colourful, versatile contents of the magazine is ensured. “Independent and unbiased” that’s the motto of E-dition.
E-dition will be THE magazine FROM fans of electronic music… FOR fans of electronic music. So you see: that’s in good hands.
