I think that my yahoo email address might be on a blacklist. How do i know and what can i do?
classicrocker186 asked:
I have tried to sends emails to possible employers, and both timed i tried, i never received a response. The first time was months ago, and the other is just a few weeks ago. They are both very small businesses, so i dont think that they are just being rude. Could it be that they are just not recieving my emails? If so, could my email address be on a spam list? My email does appear to be random numbers and letters, afgb21, but can a filter spam me just becasue of that?

It could be being stopped by their e-mail’s SPAM filter. I would make a new e-mail address that you use only for job postings. I would make it one that doesn’t look like it is coming from a SPAM mailer.
you need to advise the recipient(s) that you’re going to be sending something via e-mail. that’s the only way they’ll know it’s not spam. if there’s an attachment to your e-mail and they don’t know your e-mail address, they’re going to delete it immediately.
