How to i prevent spam in yahoo mail and why do a lot of people get it, especially in yahoo mail?

Ĉỵяú§ asked:

It’s very annoying and i get a few spam emails nearly every day. I add the email addresses from the spam emails to blocked contacts, this works. The thing is that i have all these blocked emails and i never get a spam email from them, but, i still get plenty of spam from different email addresses. You are allowed to block up to 500 email addresses but i’m afraid that i’ll still get spam emails after 500 email addresses have been blocked. All this spam is very very annoying. I have filters and all that set up but i still get spam to my inbox.

Hi it’s a problem we all have. The only solution I have found is to have a seperate e-mail address which I only give to trusted contacts. I change this every so often. It stops the spam for a while at least. I If you allow e-mail on Yahoo answers anyone can get your address. Good luck and hope this helps.

Y has the most spam. Too many senders and one at a time sends. I just delete or spam them.

On the spam message they should have some unsubscribe instructions. it usually a link just click on it and you’ll be unsubscribed . if not reply saying i wish to withdraw or i wish to unsubscribe
