i am getting email(spam) in my bulk folder from my own e-mail address. How is this happening?

i have had this same address since 1997. The email is getting diverted to my bulk via spam filter but my address is in my address book.

    Someone else may have your e-mail and password and they could be messing with your. Try changing your password and see if it stops.

    some programs send copies of messages back to your own email, sort of like a carbon copy reciept of what you sent.
    I have had this happen with ebay. when i send someone a message it sends the same message back to me too in the same form the other person gets, so it looks like i sent it to myself (so for example it will say something like: jayh, you have a message from jayh).

    You need to have your computer cleaned because your computer is being used to send out SPAM. Someone has turned you comp into a slave for sending spam. First have it disinfected by a professional then install and use a firewall and antivirus.
